Kissel's 2024 was as close to a masterpiece as a man can paint without finishing it. He went 11-3 with the #1 seed, mined Jayden Daniels out of the ninth round for 364.8 points — the greatest draft steal in league history — and won a semifinal that still stands as the highest-scoring game ever played in this league: a 168.02–162.80 firefight totaling 330.82 points. He put up numbers that win championships in any other year. Then he ran into tyadams' apocalyptic playoff heater in the Finals and lost by 34. The next season he went 5-9, because this league does not allow anyone to be happy for two consecutive years.

His true legacy, though, is not on any stat sheet. In 2024 kissel renamed his team "CadeZerr sucks at fantasy" — a perfectly reasonable observation at the time, aimed at a man three years deep into losing seasons — and committed to the bit hard enough to keep it through 2025. In 2025, CadeZerr won the championship. Kissel is now scheduled to play the 2026 season under a team name that mocks the reigning champion for being bad at fantasy football, which may be the funniest self-own ever constructed in slow motion over three years. He has, notably, refused to change it. Respect.

The full portrait: a career sitting two games over .500, a 6-2 stranglehold on Cade in the regular season (the name wasn't unearned!), a hard 0-5 against the Kebz/bschutter axis, and one glorious 11-3 season that ended half a step from the belt. Kissel is proof that you can do almost everything right in this game and still walk away with nothing but a punchline — as long as the punchline is this good, it may have been worth it.
